Innovative 3-Check Box System

Cam-Tape's innovative 3-check box system, located at the top of each tag on the triangular grab tab, was integrated as an easy way for ACs and DITs to communicate with one another, as well as a way for them to track each shot card’s daily journey throughout the shot media - back-up transfer process.  From set to post and back again, you'll know exactly which step each card is in with our 3-check box system.

Double-Stack Labels

Tape tags are typically affixed to the side of the camera, often on top of the closed media card port door. Here's a helpful Pro-Tip: consider pre-filling and pre-stacking your tags to streamline your workflow. Begin by completing 3 to 5 Cam-Tape tags per camera, depending on your anticipated daily card usage for each camera.

It's a good practice to start with the highest number first, especially if you prefer filling out your tags while they are still on the roll. This way, you can avoid covering the third tag with the first one you filled out. When you detach your first highest-numbered tag, you can conveniently stick it directly to the side of the camera. Placing the highest number at the bottom of your label pile for each camera ensures that the highest-numbered card tag will be the last one you use that day, provided you correctly estimated your daily card count.

This tip becomes particularly valuable when working in fast-paced environments with multiple cameras, assistant camerapersons (ACs), and digital imaging technicians (DITs).
